These are "adult" sizes. This means you should choose the size you wear if purchasing an "Adult" or "Men's" T-Shirt. The elastic side panels help the vests fit a woman's shape too! They run true to size. If you would normally wear an "Adult Medium" for example, choose a Medium in the vest. Our T-Shirt Size Charts at the link below may help your choices. Vests should feel a bit snug when first putting them on. This allows for the best cooling. Elastic side panels allow for comfortable movement. Sleeves tend to be large to allow for safe arm movement and to accomodate a broad variety of arm sizes.
The manufacturer recommends patting the inside of the vest dry after soaking, but we like to put them on wet for added cooling.
We recommend wearing the vest over a 100% cotton tee shirt.
